4–6 Months Before
  • Skincare:

    • Start (or stick to) a consistent routine: cleanse, moisturize, SPF daily.

    • Book facials if desired (monthly, but stop 2 weeks before the wedding).

    • Avoid trying brand-new harsh products right before the big day.

  • Hair care:

    • Trim regularly to keep ends healthy.

    • Use hydrating masks weekly.

    • If coloring your hair, plan out your timeline (final touch-up 1–2 weeks before the wedding).

  • Lifestyle:

    • Stay hydrated + balanced diet = better skin & hair.

    • Sleep as much as possible—stress shows on your skin!

1–2 Months Before
  • Makeup:

    • Book your bridal makeup trial with your artist. Test the look, foundation shade, and lashes.

    • Collect inspiration photos but stay realistic—choose styles that highlight your features.

  • Hair:

    • Have a trial with your hairdresser: test updos, curls, or sleek styles. Take photos from all angles.

    • Consider accessories (veil, tiara, pins). Bring them to the trial.

1–2 Weeks Before
  • Skin:

    • Do your last facial or peel at least 10–14 days before (never closer!).

    • Keep skin hydrated with masks/serums.

    • Avoid new treatments or products to prevent irritation.

  • Hair:

    • Final trim or color touch-up (don’t leave this for the last 2 days).

    • Do a deep-conditioning mask to boost shine.

  • Brows & lashes:

    • Shape brows professionally 1 week before.

    • If doing lash extensions, get them 4–5 days before (so they settle in).

The Day Before
  • Hair:

    • Wash your hair the night before (unless your stylist requests otherwise). Slightly “lived-in” hair holds styles better than freshly washed hair.

  • Skin:

    • Do a gentle exfoliation + hydrating mask.

    • Drink plenty of water.

    • Get a good night’s sleep (no late-night stress!).

On the Wedding Day
  • Skin:

    • Cleanse + moisturize + SPF (if your MUA recommends—it depends on flash photography).

    • Avoid heavy or greasy skincare under makeup.

  • Hair:

    • Wear a button-up shirt or robe so you don’t mess up hair/makeup when changing.

    • Let your stylist pin the veil or accessories last.

  • Makeup & touch-ups:

    • I wouldn't recommend lips too heavy or too bright. Remember there will be first kiss.

    • Keep blotting papers, lipstick, and powder for touch-ups.

    • Smile and enjoy—confidence is the best makeup!
