Hair Care for all hair type
  • Don’t overwash—most hair looks healthier when washed 2–3 times per week.

  • Always protect from heat (use heat protectant spray).

  • Trim every 6–8 weeks to prevent split ends.

  • Protect hair at night (silk pillowcase or wrap).

  • Healthy hair = healthy lifestyle: eat protein-rich foods, stay hydrated.

1. Straight Hair - Usually smooth, shiny, can get oily quickly because natural oils travel easily down the hair shaft

Care tips:

  • Wash every 2–3 days (avoid daily washing to prevent over-drying).

  • Use lightweight, volumizing shampoo & conditioner to avoid flatness.

  • Dry shampoo helps extend wash days and adds volume.

  • Avoid heavy oils or thick creams—they can weigh hair down.

2. Wavy Hair - Loose S-shape, can get frizzy, needs balance between moisture & definition

Care tips:

  • Use a sulfate-free, hydrating shampoo + lightweight conditioner.

  • Apply leave-in conditioner or curl cream for definition.

  • Let hair air-dry or diffuse on low heat to keep waves soft.

  • Regular trims to prevent frizz & split ends.

3. Curly Hair - Defined curls, prone to dryness, needs extra hydration & definition

Care tips:

  • Cleanse with a gentle, moisturizing shampoo (or co-wash sometimes).

  • Always condition deeply—curls need moisture.

  • Use curl creams, gels, or leave-ins to define and fight frizz.

  • Avoid brushing dry curls (causes frizz)—detangle with wide-tooth comb in the shower.

  • Sleep on silk/satin pillowcases or use a bonnet to protect curls.

4. Coily / Kinky Hair - Tight curls or zig-zag pattern, very fragile & dry, shrinkage common

Care tips:

  • Use sulfate-free shampoo, but not too often (weekly is enough).

  • Moisturize with rich conditioners, butters, and oils.

  • Protective styles (braids, twists, buns) help retain length.

  • Detangle gently with fingers or wide-tooth comb, always with conditioner.

  • Keep ends sealed with oil (like jojoba, castor, or shea butter).

5. Fine Hair - Strands are small in diameter, can look flat, easily weighed down

Care tips:

  • Use lightweight, volumizing shampoo & conditioner.

  • Avoid heavy oils, masks, or thick creams.

  • Dry shampoo adds body & lift.

  • Shorter layered cuts create more volume.

6. Thick / Coarse Hair - Strands are wide in diameter, often heavy, can be frizzy if dry

Care tips:

  • Hydrating shampoos & rich conditioners are essential.

  • Use smoothing serums, oils, or creams to control frizz.

  • Regular deep-conditioning masks.

  • Layered cuts help manage volume.
